Tuesday Tip: Ribbons

IMG_2703I’m starting a new section of my blog called “Tuesday Tips”. I hope to give you simple ways to glam up your life, make your beauty routine easier or elevate your style. For my debut post, I’m highlighting something that’s always close to my heart no matter my age: RIBBONS. Not only are they so versatile, ribbons of all fabrics and colors are cheap and easy to come by (any fabric store and even Target has ribbon). So you can get saturated velvets for fall and bright cottons for spring. If I’m at a craft store, I like to buy 1-2 yards (about $1) and then cut it at home. Cut the ends on a diagonal for more polish, or leave them straight and frayed for more edge. Bonus: Ribbons also make great headbands or chokers!  Continue reading “Tuesday Tip: Ribbons”

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! It’s been so rainy in San Francisco so we did a lot of early spring cleaning the last few days: I was able to pull out two full bags of clothes to donate. Feel like I have more room in the closet for some new clothes… not like I need to shop any more every again.
